Lovely spa day which included use of all the facilities - Pool, hot tubs, plunge pool, sauna, steam room and snug. Lunch was lovely with enough choice for everyone. Free robes and towels on arrival, take your own flip flops. Staff friendly and very helpful.

My husband and I were lucky enough to enjoy an amazing weekend at Seckford Hall last weekend in a stunning suite. Whilst I was a little worried the first weekend in January might be too quiet, the restaurant was full with a great ambiance. The staff throughout our stay were attentive and made it feel like a very personal experience. We first visited Seckford Hall in May just after it had been taken over by the current owners and there was room for improvement back then. There has been extensive work to the hotel since our last stay making it feel more opulent and grand. There is much more of a personal feel along with a lot more local produce being used. We look forward to returning again. Read less

An amazing local stay! We recently stayed at Seckford Hall and were not disappointed. It's a lovely setting and the staff are welcoming and friendly. So much so whilst waiting for our room in the lounge area we were surprised with a complimentary upgrade on our room! Totally surprised and unexpected, I'm sure our room would have been lovely anyway but we were blown away with the suite we got! It made a lovely weekend even more memorable! Thank you to Abi and the team!

An exceptional day and nights stay at this magnificent hall. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with such warmth and kindness. We had a Superior room (24) overlooking the lake and garden and it was outstanding. Super comfy, clean and espa toiletries were a standout. Beautiful nights sleep, delicious evening meal and breakfast, and fantastic staff. To call the people here staff feels a dis-service as there really is a feel that they are a close team and this is the 6th star on a 5 star review as you can feel a love for their hall that transcends just going to work. The setting is breath taking and the quality of the food is immensely noticeable. A huge thank you and many compliments to the evening and breakfast chefs. Overall we would return in a heart beat and Sincerely thank everyone for making our stay so memorable and my birthday treat a treasured memory forever xxx

We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful historic Seckford Hall for the first time on 30th November and used the Spa facilities. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. We loved it. I could not recommend it enough and we will definitely go back.

We stayed at Seckford Hall wanting a stay of absolute luxury. We were not disappointed. Everything is beautiful ( the hotel was still decorated for Christmas which was stunning), lovely wood burner and great service. We had a hiccup with the room as the blind was faulty in the bathroom but we're quickly offered an alternative room The pool and spa were lovely and relaxing and the food in the restaurant was delicious.

Attended a Christmas party night - Elton John & George Michael tribute act , food was average, drinks very pricey (however i suppose this is to be expected), venue was decked out nicely. Unfortunately completely ruined when a man turned violent and threatened me and my female friend for absolutely no reason, when we brought this up to the staff nothing was done and we had to leave as we felt it was no longer safe for us to be there, numerous times i have emailed, including Peter (the general manager) who does not seem interested in any resolution as i have had no further response, apparently they think antisocial behaviour is acceptable at their party evenings, definitely avoid as they do not care about the well being of their party attendees and have no security on hand to deal with issues.

We had a nice stay at Seckford Hall, however, there were many issues as well. Their rooms are decent and what you would expect from an older property. The dinner service was extremely slow and the food was honestly a let down. The spa experience was lack-luster. The outside “hot tub” didn’t work and either did one of the saunas. Overall, we would not come back here.

My recent Birthday stay was absolutely brilliant. Rooms were awesome. We ate in the restaurant both evenings. The menu choice and wine list were spot on. Overall the service was really good. The staff so friendly and attentive.

We spent our 60th wedding anniversary at Seckford Hall and enjoyed a very comfortable three days in one of the suites which had just been refurbished to a very high standard . The service and food were first class and the staff very friendly to us and our dogs ! Peggy running the bar is a force of nature ! We will definately be back for more !!

Wonderful company and venue. Peter and his team, notably Chanelle, have been fantastic to work with on both a personal and professional level. We first stayed at Seckford Hall overnight for my wedding, which unfortunately wasn't at Seckford Hall. Chanelle and the team at Seckford ensured that everything went so well. Our stay was well coordinated and there were many personalised touches, which made the whole experience wonderful. So much so, it is actually a great shame we didn't marry at this beautiful venue! We recently took our family to the Santa Christmas event. Seckford Hall was so beautifully decorated and it was very clear a lot of time and effort had been invested in this event. The food and drink was top notch! I was very impressed that each of our children's chairs had activity packs on them, which kept them entertained. The Meet Santa experience was fantastic and the magician also kept us entertained. Overall, I can only summarise Seckford Hall as a fabulous venue to use. You really do get what you pay for and it is easily the best Hotel and Spa I have dealt with. Many congratulations to Peter for creating such a fantastic team!

Booked a 4 night stay for my husband 50th 21st - 25th October 2024 looking forward to our trip. Then I went down with covid on the morning of the first day of us leaving home so unfortunately had to cancel , I then phoned up straight away to see if I could get a refund or reschedule another date. I was told you have to give 48 hour notice ( can't help covid ) so then I asked if I can't get a refund or could I reschedule another date , I was then told yes but you have only until the end of October !! which only works out a week until the end of October , So I was very upset as I lost out on a short surprise 50th break away which cost me £670. !!! and not even been giving a long period of time. so very distressed as I am disabled and wanted to do this for my husband , I managed to save up and nothing to show for it !! so I rate this 0 and hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

My daughter and I spent a lovely spa day and overnight stay at this most beautiful hotel. The staff were friendly and very professional. Our room very comfortable. The restaurant food was delicious and our full English breakfast was excellent. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

We stayed at Seckford Hall this weekend, and once again, we really enjoyed our stay there. We have been staying at Seckford Hall for many years now, and we have never been disappointed. The Staff are so friendly and welcoming, the rooms are very nice, especially the older rooms with the four poster beds. The food is amazing and the grounds are kept very well.

For the price I didn't think the rooms were that amazing, and in the evening they were very short staffed. Breakfast was amazing though. Beds are quite small for two people.

We really enjoyed a night away at the Seckford Hall. Our room was up near the spa and was a pleasant space, though a couple of minor blemishes were a bit of a shame. We enjoyed the spa which is a lovely small space to enjoy, though neither the sauna or steam room were anywhere near temperature. The staff were great and very helpful, even with the extra work of having a wedding on which looked idyllic! The grounds are lovely and the location is nice for a trip to the coast. We really enjoyed our dinner as well, the desserts in particular were amazing. Just a few minor blemishes which given the price were a little disappointing, but understand they are under new ownership and am sure they will iron this out. Thanks for a nice stay!

Just returned from a fabulous weekend away at Seckford Hall. The rooms were amazing so comfortable and very clean. The nights were a blast thanks to Peggy she made us all feel so welcome and we has such a laugh with her. She was so obliging and nothing was too much trouble for her. Our fur baby Buddy loved her too. Worth her weight in gold she helped to make our holiday magical ✨️

My daughter and I had an amazing stay, the staff went above and beyond. We relaxed in the spa and enjoyed walking around the breathtaking grounds and Hall. Our room was so charming with beautiful views and the welcoming champagne awaiting us, which we enjoyed!! The food (Dinner & Breakfast) was so delicious and staff were so friendly. We will most definitely be back, thank you!!! X

My family and I stayed in this hotel for one night to attend a wedding. The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond to help us. The hotel itself is beautiful we were all sorry we were not staying for longer we will definitely be returning

Had the most wonderful 3 night stay with my daughter, well needed rest. So relaxing and welcoming. Staff were all brilliant in Hotel, restaurant and spa, all so very helpful, friendly and professional. Had some amazing meals, really good choice and quality. Spa treatments were also amazing. Had a room in courtyard, this was exceptionally good, so warm, welcoming and comfortable. Thanks to all at Seckford Hall...we will definitely be coming back!🙂
